Senior System Engineer
Responsibilities: The Systems Engineer role is responsible for development and implementation of Company existing and new products and services. Requirements will be gathered for upgrading and sustaining Company existing products and services. The Systems Engineer will help to define engineering standards and will ensure that all processes are properly documented and communicated. This role will also provide support on engineering issues escalated to the engineering group from within other areas of the company, such as Operations and Projects. · Document any designs, any limitations of those designs, and the specifications for new and existing products. All documents to be published internally using a Company approved document format. Technical Engineering Bulletins are to be created whenever possible for work carried out within the Engineering team that may be useful for our internal customers · Take a lead role in testing engineering solutions. · Define requirements for new products and services based on proactively gathering data from internal and external sources, including working with all areas of Company including Sales, and Technical Marketing. · Develop specifications from requirements. Must refine specifications by working with all areas of Company. · Contribute and take a leading role as appropriate in functional teams that will be responsible for creating and rolling out solutions across the company. Create project plans, budgets and resource assignments. · Continually keep management informed of status of all projects · Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
Requirements: · Deep knowledge on Telecommunication systems covering SCPC, ASCPC, TDMA (iDirect preferably), Link budget calculation, familiar with fixed VSAT, Stabilized VSAT, Microwave · Some network skill (between CCNA and CCNP skills) · Must be able to troubleshoot issues when escalated to him · At least S-1, from reputable universities in Electrical Eng or Electronic Telecommunication · 5 years experience as system engineer · Can do attitude, pro-active, flexible (willing to stay late at night )and positive attitude · Strong analytical skill, problem solving · Good English oral & verbal · Full-Time positions available
