Position Summary:
The focus of the Trade Marketing Analyst is to support the overall objectives of the Trade Marketing Department, including accomplishing volume and spend targets. Support will include analysis, systems monitoring, and surfacing issues for the Trade Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager
Position Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain routine and reports related to key activity or program.
2. Perform Post Promotional Analysis
3. Monitor Spend and Volume on account/region/division basis
4. Alert respective Trade Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager of issues surfaced via analysis and regular reporting
5. Evaluate Events
6. Fulfill project requests from the field as assigned by manager
7. Support Trade Marketing Administrator and Sales Administrator on reporting and systems issues
Challenges:
1. The TMA will work very closely with the division TMM. The TMA will perform analysis and other projects requested by the TMM but also should be willing to surface issues discovered during routine analysis and reporting
2. The TMA will also work with a variety of Region Sales Managers and ASM personnel, fulfilling information requests and performing ad hoc projects
3. Ability to manage multiple projects / processes at one time. Be able to handle increasingly more responsibility as new platforms are launched.
4. Possess initiative and drive to solve problems with limited direction and raise analyses beyond reporting
Education:
Bachelor Degree, Business, Marketing or related area preferred
Skills & Competencies:
The Trade Marketing Analyst should have very good computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, a working knowledge of AC Nielsen, a strong, entrepreneurial work ethic, and a commitment to being a part of a team
Competencies & Abilities:
Problem Solving Possessing good judgment & decision making ability
Communications Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Quality of work must be accurate and thorough with attention to detail.
Team Commitment Understand the goals and objectives of the dept. and work to achieve them
