[Lowongan_Migas] Vacant position: MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES (Code: HRM-NS)

 

PT. JDA-Indonesia is manpower consultants for the Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing and Construction industries within Indonesia. JDA has been servicing the Indonesian Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing and Construction industry for 20 years.

 

Our Client, a Multinational mining company located in North Sumatra is seeking:

 

MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES (Code: HRM-NS)

Reporting to the Project Director, the Manager Human Resources will lead the company's Human Resources Department to achieve strategic and business goals, within time, cost, quality and safety parameters, to contribute to the corporate creed/vision, facilitate business improvements and to satisfy client needs.  The incumbent will be initially based in Jakarta during the mine development stage and then work on a fly in / fly out roster to the minesite.

 

The key roles and accountabilities include:

 

·        Initiate and develop the HR Department's strategic and annual business plans to determine key priorities consistent with the Company's corporate goals and then monitor and review the Department's performance to assess achievements within safety, quality, time and cost parameters;

·        Provide human resources strategic planning, support, advice and leadership to the Company;

·        Develop, maintain and adjust the Department's organisation structure and services to meet customers' and stakeholders' needs;

·        Understand the needs and aspirations of line management, employees and their families, and employee representatives and manage those needs in line with the Company's interests and the principles of mining industry best HR practice;

·        Maintain an effective and ethical relationship with all levels of Government in respect of human resources matters, particularly with regards to compliance with labour law, regulations and reporting requirements; and

·        Keep abreast of human resources trends and mining industry best HR practice.

 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following key criteria:

 

·        Tertiary qualifications, preferably in the Humanities and/or Commercial disciplines with fluency in both written and spoken English;

·        10-15 years of proven track record at executive management levels in the human resources function at both a national and international level;

·        Strategic planning and operations management skills to establish and achieve long term goals as well as meet immediate business performance targets;

·        Strong and effective leadership;

·        Sound negotiation & problem solving skills.
